As the lead nurse planner for MedTrainer, Emily oversees, develops, and maintains accredited Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) course content. She ensures training addresses clinical staff issues through practical skill-building activities and scenario-based learning that incorporates clinical excellence, cultural awareness and inclusion, and recognizing and preventing implicit bias. Before MedTrainer, Emily built her clinical expertise in the maternal and level III neonatal critical care units. She’s served in various roles, including discharge coordinator, clinical specialist, CPR coordinator and instructor, lead nurse, and staff nurse. With a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing, Emily excels in clinical nursing, leadership, continuous quality management (CQM), and education development, focusing on strategic planning and evidence-based evaluation. Outside of work, Emily enjoys time with her family on their hobby farm.
