Our Story

  • 1.Compliance Is Inefficient [2013]

As owners of a large hazardous waste management company, Steve Gallion and Jorge Fernandez saw the struggle to manage healthcare compliance manually. They sold the business to Stericycle and set out to streamline compliance. MedTrainer was founded.

  • 2.MedTrainer Launches Learning [2015]

Steve and Jorge launched MedTrainer’s learning management system with courses created by compliance experts, automations to streamline tasks, and on-demand reporting.

  • 3.Building the Platform [2017]

With the training process improved, we tackled compliance and credentialing next. Digitizing and automating these processes eliminates costly delays caused by paper and files.

  • 4.Growing With You [2019]

As MedTrainer grew to meet even more compliance needs, we completed several acquisitions and secured Series A funding from Telescope Partners.

  • 5.Adding Value [2022]

With an upward trajectory, we secured Series B funding from Telescope and Vista Equity Partners to increase the value our platform and team bring to customers.

  • 6.You're Ahead of Every Task [Future]

We are continuing to invest in our unified platform to increase enterprise-level features and expand what’s possible in digital compliance and credentialing. Stay tuned.
