This includes topics such as common bloodborne pathogens, routes of exposure, best practices and standards for avoiding exposure to bloodborne pathogens, proper sharps disposal, methods for compliance for OSHA and other standards, and incident reporting in case of an exposure. With proper training and preparation, employees and employers can minimize risk of BBP exposure at work.
