The Multistix Urine Dipstick Test is intended for use in at-risk patient groups to assist with a diagnosis for kidney function regarding urinary tract infections, carbohydrate metabolism, and liver function. Test results can be used to help rule out certain disease states and determine when a microscopic analysis is needed. This course will provide an overview of the test, sample collection and preparation, routing use, test results reporting, maintenance and quality control, as described in the package insert.
