Vaccines are recommended by the nation’s top doctors. Although vaccines are safe, vaccine-preventable diseases kill tens of thousands each year. In this course we will review pediatric immunizations and the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics, National Vaccine Advisory Committee Standards for Child and Adolescent Immunization Practice, and the evidenced-based strategies published by the Centers for Disease Control, the CDC, and how these standards and strategies can be incorporated into the workflow at the provider level.
