Steve’s passion for people and eye for market opportunities have led him to build several companies over the past 15 years that have brought benefit to healthcare. Today Steve is directly responsible for company vision and empowerment of the executive team to fulfill MedTrainer’s mission. Steve holds a degrees from the University of California Riverside in Business Economics as well as his Juris Doctorate from California Southern Law. In his free time, Steve is active with his two children, has a passion for cooking and food, and enjoys traveling. Steve loves building companies, technology, people, and believes in inclusive leadership.

Before his current endeavor as Chief People Officer, Ted built the foundation of the credentialing team at MedTrainer. With heavy influence, Ted has developed a streamlined credentialing process which has transformed the industry. He is a leader, influencer, and public speaker. With a heart of pure gold, he has extensive experience in nonprofit organizations, government, fundraising, and strategic planning. When he is not working, Ted enjoys taking a stroll in beautiful Southern California – Carpe Diem.

Erika Gotlieb
Erika Gotlieb brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare technology to her role as MedTrainer’s first Chief Client Officer. Erika has supported healthcare organizations of all sizes — from small practices to national health systems like Kaiser Permanente and Mass General Brigham. She’s accelerated software implementation timelines by up to 50%, increased client retention, and scaled client success operations. Erika also has experience in managing healthcare revenue leakage and coding compliance as Vice President of Revenue Integrity at Waystar/Zirmed. At MedTrainer, Erika is using this knowledge to help her team deepen client relationships and enhance the value clients get from the healthcare workforce compliance platform. With a proven ability to align people, processes, and technology for measurable results, Gotlieb is poised to strengthen MedTrainer’s commitment to empowering healthcare organizations to meet compliance and credentialing goals with confidence and efficiency. Erika earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and currently resides in Arizona.

Todd Scott
Todd is a true innovator has led the product development team at MedTrainer since 2021. Todd has focused his career on scaling early-stage technology companies by building collaborative, customer-centric product development teams. He recently helped scale a legal tech SaaS startup and has worked at AWS and Zynga designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud architectures. He spends his free time enjoying a good Southern BBQ.

Kevin is a leader and executive passionate about solving problems through the development, deployment, and commercialization of technology. Kevin has more than 25 years of experience building and leading commercial teams and operations in financial services and healthcare. In his last role as COO at SOLVD Health he was responsible for the commercial aspects of the business including sales, marketing, finance, HR and legal. Prior to that role Kevin spent 15 years at Morningstar, Inc., a global technology and investment research company where he held many positions including Head of Global Markets where he was responsible for business operations in 25 countries outside the U.S. He excels at building high-performing teams in marketing, sales, product development, enterprise deployment, and service to drive revenue growth and scalability in technology businesses. Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration in Technology, Marketing and General Management from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Tim’s 20 years of experience in tech across a variety of functions such as accounting (EY), banking (William Blair), M&A (Google), and FP&A (Groupon) have positioned him as a great finance leader for MedTrainer.
When not staring at spreadsheets Tim spends his time with his wife chauffeuring their two kids to various youth sports.

Vince is a marketing visionary with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through data-driven strategies and innovative go-to-market execution. As the leader of marketing efforts at a fast-growing healthcare software company, Vince focuses on accelerating demand generation, enhancing brand messaging, and delivering measurable results through integrated campaigns.
Vince is passionate about creating scalable marketing solutions that align with business goals while elevating the customer experience. Known for developing high-performing teams, he excels in crafting strategies that increase market share, optimize conversion rates, and expand customer engagement.
Outside of work, Vince enjoys racing autocross with his 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback, a car he’s had since he was 16. His competitive spirit on the track mirrors his approach to marketing — focused, driven, and always aiming for the win.

Hira Rashid
Hira Rashid, Ph.D. uses her expertise in public policy to ensure MedTrainer course content meets the requirements for regulatory compliance and professional licensure. As MedTrainer’s Director of Learning, Hira oversees the team who maintains MedTrainer’s 1,200+ course library, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards and maintaining a strategic plan for course development. Hira earned both a Master’s degree and doctorate degree in public policy before joining MedTrainer in 2021. Hira closely follows changes and updates to state-specific compliance requirements, federal requirements, and accreditation organization standards for all major healthcare settings. In addition to expertise in public policy, Hira also has experience with statistical modeling and data analysis.

Mariano Renteria

Mariano Renteria
Mariano Renteria is a seasoned software engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in the industry and more than 15 years leading high-performing development teams. His journey began at the age of 12, when he discovered a passion for computer programming that would shape his career. He has contributed to global engineering teams at major companies such as Walmart and General Electric, and for the past decade, has played a pivotal role at MedTrainer, where he started on day one and has scaled the engineering team from the ground up to over 90 developers across the U.S. and Mexico.
A true technologist at heart, Mariano is passionate about building impactful products and exploring emerging technologies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Management and shares his insights through his Spanish-language tech podcast, Chile, Mole & Tech. Mariano is also an active member of the tech community in Mexico, regularly participating in and organizing developer events to support innovation and knowledge-sharing across Latin America.

Brian S. Williams, MHA, MBA, brings 30+ years of healthcare management and executive experience to the table. Throughout his career in compliance, he has managed hundreds of healthcare workers across various department types and multiple locations. Having led teams through a multitude of challenges, including both natural and manmade emergencies, Brian has direct leadership experience in disaster response best practices and proactive strategies to simplify complex regulations and standards. He continues to be driven by a love of learning and empowering fellow compliance professionals to be successful. In addition to his national speaking engagements, Brian currently serves as the VP of Compliance at MedTrainer.
