MedTrainer Hires Tim Compton As Chief Financial Officer

LAS VEGAS, March 8, 2024 – MedTrainer has appointed veteran finance professional Tim Compton as the company’s new chief financial officer. He brings 20 years of experience in recurring revenue growth and leading fundraising rounds. His hiring is the next step in MedTrainer’s goal to strengthen the company and build on its business growth path.

The Silicon Valley native recently served as senior vice president of finance for ActiveCampaign. In that role, Tim led the finance team and helped grow annual recurring revenue from $16M to $250M in his 6+ year tenure. He also led two funding rounds, raising over $300M from leading growth equity and crossover investors.

Before ActiveCampaign, Tim worked in various finance and accounting roles at Google, Groupon, William Blair, and EY. Tim holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Arizona.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and kids. “When I’m not staring at spreadsheets or my inbox, you can find me on the sidelines coaching my kids’ youth sports, running many of Chicago’s great trails, or streaming some bad Netflix with my wife,” he said.
