She has served as President for the Middle Tennessee Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) Chapter twice since 2006. She has also served in other chapter leadership positions as well as sitting on the Board of Directors. She has presented three scientific abstract posters at National Meetings. She has helped implement national grants for infection prevention in the public health setting. She has created educational courses, IP Mentor, as part of her consulting business. She has also hosted multiple online workshops and webinars.
