This course provides an overview of OSHA’s requirements for Hazard Communication (HazCom) and Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) in workplaces where employees may be exposed to chemical and biological hazards.
Participants will learn how OSHA requires hazards to be identified, communicated, and controlled through standardized labeling, Safety Data Sheets, employee training, and waste-handling practices. The course also explains recent updates to the Hazard Communication Standard and how these requirements apply in healthcare, laboratory, facilities, and environmental services environments.

Corporate Compliance – Identifying Misconduct and Effective Discipline
This microlearning course reviews appropriate compliance mechanisms for identifying and preventing misconduct, including a discussion of the internal reporting procedures of the organizations. Effective and appropriate discipline is also discussed, as an appropriate approach to determining disciplinary action should be a core component of the corporate compliance program of the organizations.

This course will cover the responsibilities of the board during an HRSA operation site visit.
