Restorative Nursing Programs
Restorative Nursing Programs are nursing interventions that promote a residents independent living and prevent decline. Such programs offer a range of benefits to both the resident and the facility. While restorative nursing programs are not the same as rehabilitation programs, they are more intense than routine nursing care. To be recognized as a restorative nursing program, specific criteria must be met and relevant documentation must be maintained.
