Under Steve’s direction, MedTrainer has continuously evolved to meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape — most recently by introducing artificial intelligence into its compliance and credentialing tools. Steve pushed to launch the industry’s first AI policy review tool that completes in seconds what used to take compliance professionals days or weeks. Using his vast knowledge of healthcare operations, Steve ensured MedTrainer’s AI enhancements eliminate administrative bottlenecks, accelerate onboarding, and keep organizations audit-ready with greater confidence and clarity than ever before.

Prior to founding MedTrainer, Steve Gallion built a strong track record as a healthcare entrepreneur and operator. He founded and led Waste Stream Solutions, a California-based medical waste management company that developed one of the state’s first reusable sharps container systems. Under Steve’s leadership, the company grew from a single client to over $3 million in annual revenue before being acquired by Stericycle. While supporting a hyper-growth software and services company, Steve pursued a legal degree to compliment and hone his leadership and analytic skills. Steve holds degrees from the University of California Riverside in Business Economics and a Juris Doctorate from California Southern Law.

In his free time, Steve is active with his two children, has a passion for cooking and food, and enjoys exploring new places through travel. Steve loves building companies, technology, people, and believes in inclusive leadership.
